2026-2027 Membership High Desert Hunt Club

High Desert Hunt Club (HDHC) offers a premier upland bird hunting experience set within the vast and scenic landscape of Tejon Ranch. Designed for hunters who value exceptional shooting, well-managed habitat, and a welcoming club atmosphere, HDHC provides guided field hunts, trained bird dogs, and thoughtfully prepared hunting grounds that deliver consistent and exciting opportunities throughout the season. Members enjoy access to a private hunting environment where tradition, sportsmanship, and camaraderie come together to create a memorable day in the field.

Memberships perks include; Discounted Bird Prices, Discounted Lunch Prices, Ability to have Birds Processed as Whole Birds, Premium Bird Fields, Ability to Rent cabins, Ability to Hunt Valley Quail, Ability to join HDHC Scheduled European Style Hunts.

HDHC Membership $1750.00

  • Membership does not include birds.
  • All memberships include immediate family members. Family members can accompany HDHC member an unlimited number of times per season. All family members need to purchase additional Liability Insurances.
  • All members and guests are required to obtain liability insurance through Tejon Ranchcorp policy at the rate of $35 per individual, hunting or non-hunting. (Valid for entire season)
  • All memberships allow an unlimited number of guests per season. Same guest may only accompany member 3 times per season.
  • Members and guest(s) are required to hunt over a trained hunting dog. Own dog or with HDHC dog handler
  • A minimum of 10 birds must be planted per initial hunter. 5 Bird minimum for each additional Hunter
  • First 50 Approved Members receive a HDHC 14qt cooler.
  • Breasted bird processing included with all hunts.
  • Whole bird processing requires 48 hour prior notification.
  • Ability to Join HDHC Scheduled European Style Hunts.

  • Schedule a Guided tour of Main Ranch (First Tuesday Of Each Month)

**If you are a member of a Dog Handler Club (NASTRA, NAVHDA, ETC.) please let staff know prior to submitting your membership Application.**

**Corporate Membership available upon request.**
